Your installation date will be sent to you via email. We are rolling out installation dates in batches over the next few months. You will receive 2 weeks notice before installation begins. If you have any questions, please email windows@wncc49.com.
The following work will be completed:
Installation of new windows and/or patio doors
Installation of new 3½-inch wood trim casing (factory white primer coated)
Interior and exterior caulking of all newly installed windows and doors
Installation will begin from the interior of each unit, starting with the top floor.
Please note that exterior finishing may occur after your scheduled installation date. Interior access will not be required for exterior finishing work.
If your unit has a carport, the installation truck will require access to that space. If not, the crew will park as close to your unit as possible.
Please move your vehicle either:
The evening before installation, or
Early on the morning of installation
This will help prevent delays and access issues.
A resident or owner must be present in the unit on the scheduled installation day.
If you are unable to attend, please arrange for a friend, neighbour, or family member to provide access and remain present during the installation.
To ensure a safe and efficient installation process, please complete the following preparations.
Full and unobstructed access is required to both the interior and exterior of all affected windows and doors.
Please remove:
Furniture within 3 feet of windows and doors
Curtains, blinds, and other window coverings
Wall decorations near window areas
Outdoor furniture, BBQs, plants, and personal belongings
A minimum clearance of 3 feet must be maintained during installation.
Please remove any artwork, mirrors, or décor that could be affected by vibration during installation.
Installation work may generate dust and debris. While the crews will perform a general cleanup, homeowners should expect to vacuum and perform additional cleaning after installation.
For everyone’s safety, pets must be secured in a crate or confined to a separate room away from the work area. This protects both your pets and the installation crew.
Crews, materials, and equipment are scheduled specifically for your confirmed installation date.
If the unit is not ready upon arrival, or if access cannot be provided, a rescheduling fee of $2,200 + HST will be charged to cover remobilization, labour, and logistics costs.
Installation is weather permitting
If work must be rescheduled due to weather, you will be contacted by 8:00 AM on the scheduled day, and follow-up confirmation will be provided by email
Egress windows, modified windows, or windows covered by decks or other structures will not be replaced
